These terms cover your use of letsfixitmobile.com, operated as Let's Fix It Mobile. Using the site means you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy.

What this site is

Let's Fix It Mobile is a directory and a set of tools. A driver can look up an independent mobile mechanic, ask nearby shops to make contact, or schedule a service. A mechanic can claim a listing. A person can list a car, and a shopper can look at those listings.

We do not employ the mechanics on the map, and we do not perform the repair. We are not the seller of a car posted by a private seller or another shop. A call, a text, a quote, a repair, and a car sale are between the people involved. We are not a party to those deals, and we do not take a cut of a repair or a car sale.

Listings are not a background check

Notice: This website operates strictly as an un-vetted, automated directory linking consumers with independent local service providers. We do not employ, verify, license, or bond any provider listed. Users are strictly urged to verify all local regulations, credentials, and insurance before hiring any provider.

Inspect a vehicle yourself before you buy it. A listing is not a promise about the condition of a car.

Your information

You confirm that what you submit is yours and that you have the right to post it. A phone number on a listing, a car, or a request must be a number you are allowed to use. Do not post someone else’s information.

Keep your PIN to yourself. The first time a phone number signs in, that PIN stays with that number.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not give it to anyone outside the ordinary work of this site. The details are in the Privacy Policy.

Calls and texts

Call and text buttons open the phone app on your own phone. We do not place those calls or texts for you. A verification text or a replacement PIN is sent only when you ask for it, and only when texting is connected.

Help requests and quotes

If you ask shops to contact you, shops in the area can see the callback number, the problem, and any photos you attached.

If you schedule a service, shops can send a labor quote. Your phone number stays hidden until you pick a shop. Each request stops at 10 quotes. If no quote comes in during the time shown on the request, the site can point you to nearby shops to call yourself.

Payments

Some listing upgrades are optional and are paid on this site. The price and what you get are shown before you pay. The card charge is handled by our payment company. We do not see your full card number. If checkout does not finish, nothing is charged and the listing is not changed.

A monthly upgrade continues until it ends. A one-time upgrade does not renew.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the site. Do not break into an account, post a false listing, or use a listing to bother someone who did not ask to be contacted. Do not copy the directory in bulk.

We may remove a listing, close a request, or refuse a sign-in when the information is not yours, the use breaks these terms, or we need to keep the site working.

No promise of a result

Shops set their own prices and decide whether to take a job. A pin on the map is not a promise that a shop is licensed, insured, open, or available. The site is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for a repair, a quote, a car sale, or a decision you make from a listing.

Changes

We may update these terms. The new version is posted on this page with a new date. Continuing to use the site after that date means you accept the update.
