This policy covers letsfixitmobile.com, operated as Let's Fix It Mobile. It explains what we collect and who can see it.

We do not sell or give away your information

We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent it, trade it, or give it to advertisers, data brokers, or anyone else outside the ordinary work of this site.

We share information only when that is part of the thing you asked the site to do. If you did not ask for that step, we do not hand your information to anyone for it.

What the ordinary work includes

• Showing a shop listing, including the phone number the shop published, so a driver can call or text that shop.
• Showing a help request to shops in the area, including the callback number and the problem, so they can contact you the way you asked.
• Showing a scheduled service as a quote request. Your phone number stays hidden from those shops until you pick one.
• Showing a car listing with the details you saved and the contact method you chose.
• Sending a verification text or a replacement PIN to the phone number on that request, when texting is connected.
• Using a backup email for an account notice you asked for, such as confirming that address.
• Completing a payment for an optional listing upgrade. Our payment company, Stripe, receives what it needs to charge the card. We do not see or store your full card number.
• Letting the people who operate this site keep accounts, listings, and payment records working.

That is the limit. We do not use your information for a purpose outside that work.

If a law requires us to disclose information, we will. That is the only exception.

Information we collect

We collect what you type into the site, and only what that form needs.

• A phone number, used to sign in and, when you publish it, to let someone reach you.
• A PIN. We store it as a scrambled hash. We cannot read the digits back.
• Shop details you enter: business name, services, hours, area, address, and an optional photo or logo.
• A help request or a scheduled service: callback number, call or text, the problem, optional photos, and a ZIP, postcode, or location so we can find shops near you.
• Car listing details, photos, ZIP, and whether shoppers should call, text, or both.
• A profile photo and an optional backup email on a signed-in account.
• Which paid upgrade is active. The card number stays with Stripe.

If you choose Use my location, your browser sends that location to this site for the search. You can type a ZIP or postcode instead. We use that place to find nearby shops. We do not sell it.

Sign-in

Signing in places a cookie in your browser so the site knows which phone number is signed in. The cookie runs your account. We do not use it to follow you on other websites.

How long we keep it

We keep account, listing, job, and car information while it is needed to run the site. You can remove photos from a listing you control and remove a vehicle you saved. A listing you claimed can be taken down.

Children

This site is for people arranging mechanic work, shop listings, and car listings. It is not meant for children.

Changes

If we change this policy, the new version is posted on this page with a new date at the top.

Questions

Questions about information you already sent stay with the phone number on that account or listing. How you may use the site is covered in the Terms of Use.
